Leaving Episode 9...
So, following that fast forward week, there was like a night where it was kinda the calm before the storm. No drama, everyone just relieved to still be here. But at the same time, everyone knew this was gonna be a very temporary victory. The battle lines are now Sarah/Will/Renny vs. Roddy/Lydia/Eddie, but the other alliance still kinda thinks they have Eddie.
It is FINAL 6. This is SERIOUS. And Hell’s Angels makes up half the damn game. Feels GREAT. Sarah, Renny and Will are our competition - none of them are even close to being the threat that Nathan is. VROOM VROOM! Hell's Angel's is in full fucking speed to make it to the finish line!
Final 2 Pact
I also decided to make a final 2 pact with Eddie. I never would have thought going into this game that Lydia would not be my final 2 partner, but Eddie is better for a few reasons. First of all, Lydia would most likely beat me in a final 2. She is a past winner and has been really well liked for most of this game, I think she would have the jury’s respect over me. But its more than just that – Eddie and I make such an awesome team, and I feel like with Lydia already having the win under her belt from Warzone 3, that I would rather see it go to me or Eddie. If he is playing me, that would SUCK, but if he is, then he is doing a damn fine job of it.
HoH
HoH was a complete success. Lydia won! Such a relief… her winning basically means I knew that Hell’s Angels were completely safe this week. The other thing that felt great, was that I really dominated that challenge. No I did not win, but I basically did all the work of finding the persons and assembling the image, and had time to correct the errors that Lydia and Eddie had with their answers. The only answer we were unsure of was who placed 5th in mini-bb, but since we were confident on all the other answers, I just created two images that were exactly the same for most of the persons, but answered that one question differently, and we both just sent in. It WORKED!
Not only did I basically rack up another victory, but I don’t have the target of winning back to back challenges. That is actually a pretty big concern for me this time around. I do not believe I am perceived as all that threatening in this game, at least in contrast to the last one I played. I have been dropped twice at the final 3, I do not want that happening again.
Even though Lydia won, I am not safe from the block this week unless I win the veto. If I don’t win then I am clearly gonna be the target of Will’s power. He is a smart player and that makes complete sense for him to do. But, that doesn’t REALLY put me in danger because I still have the votes to stay this week through Eddie and Lydia.
Veto
UGH!!!! SO GOD DAMN CLOSE!!!! Seconds! Literally, SECONDS! I can’t believe I lost by less than a minute. And it was basically 2v1, as Eddie’s internet went out. If I had won that it would have been epic.
Still though, I am glad that Renny did not get it. If she had then it probably would have been game over for Eddie or myself. Because she prolly would have used veto, and Lyd would have had to nominate Eddie/me. And then Will would go in for the ambush and I would be up as well. That would put us in danger because we would have no impact on the vote.
So while I would have liked to win, losing is not terrible. I should still survive the week... I just don’t get a vote.
Last Minute Scrambling
There was some definite scrambling going on yesterday. But I am positive that it was all just about Sarah/Will trying to evict me. They are seriously threatened by the presence of myself and Lydia in the game (as they should be!).
Anyways, Will comes up to me, and tells me he is considering not using the power on me, and using it on Renny instead. I didn’t believe it for a second, but I kinda played along. He told me that since we ‘both just wanna stay the week’ that we should help eachother. I told him that I agreed with him, but in reality I had no intentions of following through). If he was dumb enough to leave me off the block, then I was voting for him. He is the most threatening player in the game to me.
However, at the end of the conversation, he throws in that there is one condition. He has already promised Eddie that he would not use the power on him, so if it came down to me and Eddie, he would pick me to ambush. LMAO. Does he think I am stupid ? That totally proved to me that this was a hoax.
If Will really cared about Eddie staying off the block, he would not have told me that Eddie took priority over me because obviously I would go to Lydia and tell her that I need Renny to be an option in order to ensure I am not ambushed. So it was not like he was trying to keep Eddie. The only logical explanation is that he was hoping I would get Eddie nominated, and then he would probably end up falling back on his end of the agreement, and would nominate/evict me. I think this was also a test – to see how unwilling Lydia and I were to put up Eddie. LMAO at that obvious plan.
This was also the first week that there was no a unanimous decision from Hell’s Angels on who should go. Lydia and I really would have preferred Will to leave, but Eddie wanted Renny out. At first I was really frustrated with the situation. I tried my hardest to convince Eddie that Will leaving was a better option – that he was a bigger challenge, strategic, social and jury threat. He was receptive of the idea, but it was clear we had different gut reactions.
The thing was, from the perspective of the alliance as a whole, Will IS the logical target. I think Eddie sees that. But Eddie and Renny have a mutual animosity, and I think their relationship is not that far off from mine with Crazy James. I would have hated my #1 ally pressuring me to keep James, so I felt really bad doing that to Eddie. I ended up telling him that I respect that it is his decision to make, and that he knows how I see it, but that either way this week is a victory.
So unsurprisingly, Sarah saved herself from the block. Renny is replaced. Roddy is ambushed. If I go home this week, it will be because Eddie betrayed me and it would be the biggest blindside EVER in Warzone.
