LOL I guess I slept on it. And with that, Nathan, you are the 12th houseguest to leave the game!!!

So, I guess I should explain my "sudden" change of heart. I have been entertaining the possibility of using the POW on Nathan for a while now - and kicking myself that I ever made the promise or asked for his help. I still blame Renny for not telling me that morning! So, I talked to Eddie for a long time last night. And somehow Season 2 came up - and Jessica and how she hates me lol. I decided to go read the viewer's area of season 2 again. This time with new eyes. I noticed how Jessica seemed to never bring my name up and specifically seemed to ignore others' posts about me. Then I noticed her glee as she posted how Nathan "manipulated and guilt-tripped" me into keeping him at F4. It made me want to send Nathan out of the house as a present to Jessica. But, more than that, it reminded me that I was in a perfect position to get Nathan out at one time and I let some misplaced loyalty toward Nathan keep me from doing that. This season I am even less close to Nathan. We have been "working together" since week 1 but both of us are cautious. Both of us have other allies, other plans, and neither of us intend to take the other to the end. Then I thought about who I DO want with me in the end. WILL!!! And Nathan came very close to nominating him last week. Obviously Renny is safe from Nathan but Eddie, my #3 in this game is also in grave danger if Nathan remains. That's two out of my perfect F4 that Nathan wants out. And I knew he was perfectly capable of taking them both out in the next couple of weeks. Using my power may be breaking a promise to a casual ally in this game but NOT using my power to protect two of my closest allies is selfish.

I talked to Will a bit about "what if" I used it on Nathan and what he thought, etc. He has been really great about not pressuring me to do this. He has always said he understands - although it would put him in danger to not use it on Nathan.

So, once the decision was made to use it on Nathan instead of wasting it on Roddy, I went to Eddie. I had promised him a story earlier in the day. I really wanted to tell Will first but he wasn't on so, I told Eddie my story...

Buffy Zanzibar (5:25:50 PM): because she wanted to live in the kingdom with her friends
Buffy Zanzibar (5:25:58 PM): but she needed to get rid of her enemies

Buffy Zanzibar (5:26:06 PM): and she thought maybe what was in the box could help her
Buffy Zanzibar (5:26:10 PM): so she opened the box
Buffy Zanzibar (5:26:14 PM): with the key
Buffy Zanzibar (5:26:28 PM): and to her surprise there was another box, smaller, but locked
Buffy Zanzibar (5:26:41 PM): it had three pictures on it
Buffy Zanzibar (5:26:52 PM): and the wizardess told her that to open the b ox
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:01 PM): she needed to figure out a word that related to one of the pictures
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:08 PM): Sarah tried soooo hard
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:14 PM): but alas, nothing worked
Eddie (5:27:17 PM): oh no!
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:22 PM): so Sarah was sad
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:25 PM): and a bit frustrated
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:32 PM): she really wanted this power
Eddie (5:27:39 PM): yeah!
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:50 PM): oh i forgot that she did get into the first small box lol
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:56 PM): but there was another one inside
Buffy Zanzibar (5:27:57 PM): anyway

Buffy Zanzibar (5:28:23 PM): and she knew someone who was very good with these picture passwords

Buffy Zanzibar (5:29:46 PM): Nathan looked at the pictures

Buffy Zanzibar (5:29:54 PM): he figured out the password
Buffy Zanzibar (5:29:58 PM): Sarah was amazed!

Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:01 PM): so she opened the next box
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:10 PM): and lo and behold!
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:16 PM): there was another box
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:25 PM): and to get into this box there was another password
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:36 PM): to get it she would have to do all these math squares
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:37 PM): :-P
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:39 PM): Sarah hates math
Eddie (5:31:43 PM): fuck math squares
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:48 PM): and even though she tried
Buffy Zanzibar (5:31:56 PM): she was very slow

Buffy Zanzibar (5:32:32 PM): so she claimed the power and sent proof to Chelsbot
Buffy Zanzibar (5:32:39 PM): and it was rightfully hers
Buffy Zanzibar (5:32:41 PM): yay
Eddie (5:32:44 PM): YAY!
Buffy Zanzibar (5:32:58 PM): so everyhting was fine in the kingdom for a while
Buffy Zanzibar (5:33:16 PM): but Sarah knew she couldn't let Nathan stay there for very long
Eddie (5:33:22 PM): quite right
Buffy Zanzibar (5:33:32 PM): and Eddie reallly didn't like Nathan
Eddie (5:33:41 PM): he didn't?
Buffy Zanzibar (5:33:43 PM): and tried to remove Nathan from the kingdom
Buffy Zanzibar (5:33:46 PM): unsuccessfully
Eddie (5:33:47 PM): that's probably because Eddie is hot

Buffy Zanzibar (5:34:42 PM): so one day Sarah was sitting on a rock by the brook, skipping stones into the water
Buffy Zanzibar (5:35:02 PM): and watching them splash
Buffy Zanzibar (5:35:25 PM): and sweet Sarah had a not so nice idea

Buffy Zanzibar (5:35:51 PM): she really needed Nathan to leave the kingdom
Buffy Zanzibar (5:35:58 PM): but he was just too good at all the games
Buffy Zanzibar (5:36:03 PM): and would never leave
Buffy Zanzibar (5:36:18 PM): so Sarah decided she might have to use her power on Nathan
Eddie (5:36:29 PM): OH!
Buffy Zanzibar (5:36:38 PM): but she felt so bad thinking about this
Buffy Zanzibar (5:36:48 PM): at first she thought - no, I can't do that after I promised
Buffy Zanzibar (5:36:55 PM): but then one day
Buffy Zanzibar (5:37:12 PM): while she was reading archives of her time in a past kingdom with Nathan
Buffy Zanzibar (5:37:21 PM): she saw the mad scribblings of a witch
Buffy Zanzibar (5:37:26 PM): an ugly, evil witch
Buffy Zanzibar (5:37:32 PM): named Jessica
Eddie (5:37:37 PM): ew
Buffy Zanzibar (5:37:58 PM): who was cackling and laughing about how Nathan had manipulated Sarah in the other kingdom
Buffy Zanzibar (5:38:08 PM): and this made Sarah start to think
Buffy Zanzibar (5:38:36 PM): she was never going to take Nathan to the castle to live with her forever in teh kingdom
Buffy Zanzibar (5:38:40 PM): and he was never going to take her there
Buffy Zanzibar (5:38:44 PM): they both knew this
Buffy Zanzibar (5:39:06 PM): so she should probably do what she needed to do for hersself this time
Eddie (5:39:51 PM): it's the 21st century and even princesses need to be strong and independent
Eddie (5:39:53 PM): I understand
Buffy Zanzibar (5:39:53 PM): and not let Nathan get to the castle with someone else
Buffy Zanzibar (5:39:56 PM): lol
Buffy Zanzibar (5:40:02 PM): so she did
Buffy Zanzibar (5:40:15 PM): and she got to the castle with Eddie
Buffy Zanzibar (5:40:19 PM): and they lived happily ever after

So, I left out the part about Lady Renny already getting into the box earlier that day - unbeknownst to Princess Sarah - and Prince Will solving the right math square to get into the last board. So Sarah could get in there before Nathan and send the PM to Chelsbot claiming the power for her own!

Either way, Eddie was happy, and then I told Will.

I PMd Chelsbot and she gave me the rundown on what would happen and then, right before she announced it I PMd Nathan. I could tell by his mood entering the chat he had no clue and his reaction to my PM confirmed that.

Yes, even though I stand by my decision I feel bad about Nathan. It was a huge blindside and he really didn't have a chance. He was pretty angry. He made a few comments in the chat, and pointedly ignored me upon his exit from the game. I suppose I can't blame him since he was lied to by someone he trusted. I have no delusions I would win his vote if I made it to the end but I can't play my game being worried about jury votes. I will make the moves I need to make to get me and Will to the end and deal with the jury if and when I get there.

Right after Will nominated Renny, in place of Lydia, Renny came online:

I can't really tell how upset she is or if that is anger or just sadness. I'll have a talk with her when she gets back and try to explain that in no way did my actions tonight mean I am any less loyal to our F3. Yes, it didn't help her game to take Jun and Nathan out but I am still 100% with Renny and Will. Anything that I do from this point out will reflect that. Hopefully this F3 is still in tact.
